Inclement Weather Guidelines

When the Chippewa Valley Schools district is closed due to inclement weather, the IAM will also be closed and included in the media announcements.  If Chippewa Valley remains open during a weather event when other districts are closed, the IAM will also be open and students are expected to attend.  On those days, only transporting districts that remain open will provide transportation.  If the transporting district is closed, students will have to secure other means to get to school.  This will also apply to students who are transported by Chippewa from the Romeo area.  If Romeo Community Schools is closed there will be no transportation services for those students if Chippewa remains open.
