Started in 2011 as a student-led CAS project, Film Club is an opportunity for students to step away from their homework and electronic devices for a few hours and enjoy some classic, influential American films.
Who can join?
Any juniors and seniors in good social and academic standing. Students must have a signed permission slip on file with Ms. Rojeski in order to participate.
What does a typical Film Club meeting look like?
Film Club general meets twice a month on Tuesdays. Films begin promptly at 2:45 pm. Meetings typically end between 4:30 and 5:00pm. Students watch the film together and discuss themes, cinematography, direction, etc. Films lasting longer than 2 hours are generally divided over two meetings.
Students are expected to be fully present during Film Club, which means no homework or cell phone use during the film.
Film Club meeting dates can be found on the Activities and Clubs page calendar.
Please contact Ms. Rojeski if you have any questions regarding Film Club.
