As an experienced principal at both the Junior High School and
High School levels, I am truly honored to serve as the first
principal of the International Academy of Macomb. Opening
in August of 2008, the Academy will provide Macomb County
students an exceptional educational opportunity. The world of learning awaits our students as they embark on a
rigorous curriculum, with an international perspective that
correlates areas of study to real world issues. The
intent is, of course, to prepare students for admittance into
the finest universities, for careers of prominence and
significance, and for a life that is meaningful and balanced in
a complex world.
I look forward to meeting the students and parents of the
Academy’s first class. Together with a very student-focused and
innovative staff, we will begin a journey of educational
discovery that promotes personal development and instills a
life-long passion for learning.
